Pink ballet shoes - (fitted properly by a dancewear specialist)
Boys 2nd grade and up:

It is important that you have shoes checked with your child’s teacher before they are worn in class so that they can be returned if necessary. A proper fitting is important. The toes should not be bent at all while standing with their full weight on the floor. There should be no space between the tip of the big toe and the end of the shoe when the dancer lifts the heel off the floor slightly. Ballet shoes should not be bought a little big to grow into. They must fit perfectly from the first day and you might need to purchase another pair of shoes during the year as your dancer's foot grows.
Hair must be pulled up and back and securely fastened.
Leg warmers, skirts and shirts or sweaters are not to be worn in class.
Cover-up clothing should be worn to and from the ballet school.
Jazz
Any color Leotard, jazz pants or barefoot tights and foot undies for shoes.
Modern
Any color leotard and barefoot tights or jazz pants. Snug fitting shirts or shorts may be worn.
Pick up/Drop Off
We have 5 studios located on Main Street in Kaysville between 1st North and Center Street.
Please enter through the back doors. If you drive down the alleyway behind the Kaysville Theater you will come to 5 brightly colored doors with matching awnings marked A, B, C, D and E.
We do not allow parking or waiting in the alley.
Please bring your dancer 10 minutes early and pick up 10 minutes after class ends (this does not apply to the 4 and 5 year olds. It is best for dancers that young to be dropped off and picked up right on time)
If you are early and your dancers are not ready to be picked up, please park on a side road until they are.
Keep the traffic running as smoothly as possible down the alley.
Attendance
Attendance on a regular basis is necessary for students’ progress.
Students who have excessive absences will be asked to withdraw.
Student Conduct Rules
Silence in the classroom is expected unless called upon by the teacher.
No gum, drinks, candy or food in the studios or dressing rooms at any time.
Electronics are not allowed in the studio. Smartwatches are permitted as long as they are set to "do not disturb" and students do not check them during class.
Visitors
Visiting your student’s class is not generally encouraged. It distracts the other dancers in the class and it can be hard for a child to focus on the teacher's corrections while their parent is watching.
